Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to create and manage your account.

Recipe Data: When you share Instagram Reels or YouTube videos with Instameals, we process the video content to extract recipe information including ingredients, cooking steps, and nutritional estimates. This data is stored in your account.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app experience, including which features you use and how you interact with the app.

Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Instameals Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Instameals service
• To generate personalized meal plans based on your saved recipes
• To extract nutritional information from shared recipe videos
• To improve and optimize our AI recipe extraction
• To communicate with you about your account or the service

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data communication. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: For authentication
• AWS Cognito: For user identity management
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• OpenAI / Anthropic / Google AI: For AI-powered recipe extraction

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access your data through the app
• Delete your account and all associated data from the Profile section
• Contact us to request data export

7. Children's Privacy

Instameals is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app.
